Payment:
Admission tickets & meals are not included in your tour.
Option 1
20% deposit option: This option only applies if booking your tour 60 days prior to your tour date.
To book this option, go to our contact page. Fill in all details including the name of the tour you wish to book and traveler numbers. We include admission tickets with this option. When the deposit has been paid your tour date is confirmed. The balance owing is paid 30 days prior to the tour day. We will send you invoices for both the deposit and the balance owing on the due dates.
Booking within 60 days prior to tour date full payment is required. After full payment is received your tour will be confirmed and details of our pickup time and meeting point will be sent to you.
Option 2
Alternately go the the booking page and make your booking directly by credit / debit card. This option does not include admission tickets
Refunds:
If your ship is unable to dock in the Port of Tauranga through unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. If your ship docks later than the scheduled time and the tour can be safely completed prior to the ship leaving Port, the tour will proceed.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In some cases the tour may be affected by adverse weather or road conditions and in these instances alternative destinations and activities of a similar nature will be offered to you. The decision to cancel the tour for safety reasons is at the discretion of Tauranga Cruise And Tour and a full refund will be given.
Liabilities and Guarantees:
In New Zealand consumer’s rights are protected under The Fair Trading and Consumer Protection Acts. Any disputed disagreement arising between us, the Act shall prevail.
Whilst Tauranga Cruise And Tour guarantee your return to your ship prior to sailing time, and in the unlikely event through our fault, we are unable to return you to your ship on time, at our cost we will arrange for your transfer to the next port of call.
If through no fault of ours due to Force Majeure which means any act of God, war, terrorism, fire, flood or any other extreme weather conditions, natural disaster, industrial disputes, vehicle accident, road closure, or any other disruptions beyond our control, we will assist in arranging suitable transfers to the next port of call for you to rejoin the ship at your cost. We recommend you have travel insurance for such situations.2
